VocaFlow (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides AI-powered transcription, translation, and subtitling for content creators. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's handled.

1. Information we collect

Account information: email address, name, and role/workspace details you provide at sign-up.
Content you upload: audio/video files you upload, or links you paste (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X), along with the resulting transcripts, translations, and summaries.
Usage data: minutes transcribed, credit balance, subscription/billing status, and general product usage (pages visited, features used).
Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor (LemonSqueezy) — we do not store your card details ourselves.

2. How we use it

To provide the core service: transcribing, translating, summarizing, and letting you edit and export your content.
To manage your account, subscription, and credit balance.
To send transactional emails (e.g. transcript-ready notifications, billing receipts, password resets).
To respond to support requests submitted through our contact form.
To improve the product and diagnose issues.

3. Who we share it with

We use the following subprocessors to operate VocaFlow. Each only receives what it needs to perform its function:

AssemblyAI	Fallback transcription for larger files
DeepL	Translation
LemonSqueezy	Billing, subscriptions, and payment processing
Google	Sign-in via Google OAuth (if you choose it)
Resend	Transactional email delivery

We do not sell your personal information or your content to third parties.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your projects, transcripts, and stored files, cancel any active subscription, and remove your account record — this action is immediate and cannot be undone.

5. Security

Uploaded media is stored in a private storage bucket and only ever accessed via short-lived signed URLs. We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Profile, including a full account deletion. If you have questions about your data, contact us at chedganemouhssine@gmail.com.

7. Children's privacy

VocaFlow is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
